QuantumScape is an energy storage technology company, located in San Jose, California, and we are working on a fundamental disruption in the field of energy storage. We seek to change the paradigm in energy storage by developing a completely new class of electrical energy storage device. We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated candidate to join our rapidly growing finance organization. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end administration of the Company's equity incentive plans. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who has a passion for learning and ongoing process improvement.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and ensure integrity of the equity database including the process and reconciliation of grants, exercises, new hire, terminations/cancellations, and audits.Establish policies, operating procedures, and detailed process documentation as requiredCoordinate ESPP enrollment and election changes, collaborating with HR, Finance, and Legal partners on a regular basis.Partner in New Hire Orientations, Office Hour participation and response to and resolution of simple to complex equity program questions.Serve as liaison with external plan administrator, brokerage firms, and employees.Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for Payroll, HR, Financial Reporting, Legal, Tax, and Accounting including SOX 404 documentation.Assist with accurate and timely preparation of Section 16 Forms 3, 4, and 5Assist with review of newly proposed 10b5-1 trading plansProvide support for other departmental activities or special projects as needed including tax and securities research and compliance.Provide a superior level of customer service to employees, management, and othersSupport employee understanding of equity awards and Company programs and policiesAssist efforts to grow and scale the stock administration function, including automating processes
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Minimum 6+ years of experience in Stock Administration and/or Accounting.Finance/Accounting degree or CEP (level 3) preferred or equivalent work experience.Experience working with major third-party equity software systems and brokerage firmsStrong attention to detail with excellent follow-up skills.Ability to work and think independently.Strong analytical abilities and advanced Excel skillsExcellent project management skills and ability to prioritize workWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
