SUMMARY

Nexamp’s Marketing team is responsible for acquiring and retaining subscribers for Nexamp’s community solar programs and other clean energy services.  Our mission is focused on helping more people access the benefits of solar energy and the savings that come with it.  We’re a data-driven team focused on constantly optimizing our programs to reach more people and do so more efficiently.  We’re a team of creators who are building interest in decarbonization as a less expensive energy choice.  As a team, we are passionate about what we do and about exploring ways to expand our mission beyond our existing lines of business.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Direct Marketing Manager will oversee and execute print direct acquisition programs at Nexamp.  This person is a data-driven marketer constantly looking for ways to optimize the effectiveness of our programs.  As a detail-driven program manager, you will create and run processes, helping ensure we hit our community solar subscriber growth goals.

 

  • Develop and drive the annual direct mail acquisition plan for community solar subscribers.
  • Become an expert on our prospect data; work with our in-house data as well as outside partners to target prospective subscribers who are most likely to respond.
  • Ideate and test new ways to generate responses from prospects including new marketing channels, formats, creative concepts and messaging.
  • Analyze test results and forecast response by week to maximize the efficiency of our sales funnel.
  • Optimize our direct mail production process in order to decrease time-to-market and improve cost efficiency.
  • Manage production and data vendors and ensure that we’re working with best-in-class partners.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Ideal candidate must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, results-oriented and operate well in a collaborative, team environment. The ideal candidate should be prepared for increased responsibilities as they relate to the role and in a rapidly growing company.

 

  • 5+ years of work experience in a customer acquisition role with a thorough understanding of the direct mail landscape
  • Ability to create and manage processes
  • Strong problem-solving and multi-taking skills
  • High proficiency in Excel, Power BI or other analytical tools; comfort in drawing conclusions from data and making recommendations based on imperfect information
  • Strong creative judgment and point of view
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Proven track record of leadership, taking ownership and driving results
