Clean Energy Project Manager, Raise Green, Inc. (Remote)



Raise Green is the marketplace for local impact investment. We are a licensed fintech company that allows anyone to invest in local, community resilience. Our marketplace allows project creators to raise money for their projects through investment from anyone (retail, accredited, institutional). Our inclusive finance model is designed for any project with a contractual cash flow: community solar, microgrids, electrical vehicle infrastructure, community agriculture, energy efficiency, and battery deployments — as long as social and environmental benefits are at the core of their design. We are seeking to finance a healthy, just, and sustainable future that allows anyone to access and benefit from climate resilient local infrastructure.



Our Clean Energy Project Manager is dedicated to fighting income inequality, air pollution, and climate change. Raise Green is making it easier to open a solar array or a housing co-op in your neighborhood than a gas station or fast food joint. This is a new opportunity for a Clean Energy Project Manager to provide support to project Originators through the process of creating, funding, building, and running their own local solar or climate solutions project.  Our Clean Energy Project Manager thrives on lack of precedent and adapts to the fast-changing nature of an early-stage startup. Job skills and trust are paramount. 



  • Analyze bills and incoming dealflow for potential and line of sight to development
  • Stress test projects for power pricing, local regulations, and corporate structures
  • Advance development of assigned projects from initial conversation to offering
  • Align projects with Raise Green’s long-term strategy and initiatives 
  • Provide accurate and timely project status updates and communication 
  • Organize and maintain project related files, drawings, materials, and correspondence
  • Prepare spreadsheets, analyze and prepare proposals, and conduct project review meetings
  • Collaborate to prepare and maintain reports, presentations, documentation, and project material
  • Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, safety, standards, practices, and codes.
  • Foster positive and effective business relationships with all parties
  • Perform other duties as required
  • Willingness to help co-create the strategic vision and grow the team



  • Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of related work experience in project and  company due diligence, project finance modeling, energy pricing analysis, and project management.
  • Solar design experience using Helioscope/Aurora a plus.
  • Track record of successfully developing projects related to renewable energy/efficiency.
  • Experience speaking with parties such as officials, consultants, and communities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organization, networking, time management, and accounting skills
  • Passion for social justice, sustainable finance, and the environment
  • Exposure to large scale construction projects involving upgrades, renovations, and retro-fits involving institutional, government, commercial and industrial customer sites.
  • Proven ability to gather, validate, and analyze quantitative data and information
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite (including data tables, lookups, pivot tables)
  • Excellent verbal, written, computer, technical communication and presentation skills required.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and business relationships.
  • Willing to take initiative, run with assignments, and step into new responsibilities quickly
