Role Description
We are looking for an intern with a strong background in python scripting/modeling to help scale up existing battery simulations to full scale designs. In this internship you will work closely with team members to build on the existing battery model to enable simulations at our full-scale designs. Knowledge of batteries/electrochemistry is not needed, but an interest in learning more about this topic is desired.

What you'll do:

• Develop the framework for existing battery model to operate at a larger scale
• Expand the geometry to have large scale options
• Add in equations to the battery model representing the physical phenomena needed to accurately simulate larger scale batteries
• Enable simulations to be run by anyone in the company through available software (IDEs).

What you'll need:

• Strong communication skills 
• Graduate level or 3rd year + undergraduate in an engineering, computer science, or related program
• Experience with Python
• Experience using cloud based organizational tools
• Enjoys a fast paced work environment
• Experience with Statistics and DOE is a plus
