What will I be doing?

Working within Operations the role will provide management support to a team of site based Project Managers, assisting in overseeing, measuring and reporting on Programme adherence, SHE, Quality, compliance and assurance, 

You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the management of the Operations team and delivery.
  • Demonstrating technical knowledge of Renewables, Central Heating systems, and insulation measures to support selection and on site auditing of PC processes during installation.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered to the highest SHE standards, above set benchmarks and compliant with Health, Safety and Environmental legislation. 
  • Keeping up to date with all relevant regulations and obligation in order to inform and maintain compliance (Electrical, Gas Regulations, Building Regulations, as well as ECO and RHI)
  • Delivering projects to achieve the required quality, on time and within budget
  • Ensuring all SSE project documentation is complete, compliant and appropriately stored
  • Work with Principal Contractors and System Suppliers to support appropriate scheme designs

Is this the job for me?

Ideally you will have a/an:

  • Project Management experience
  • Strong Technical knowledge of domestic, Domestic Renewable energy,  First-time central heating systems and Insulation measures.
  • Understanding of government obligation – ECO and Renewable heating Incentive.
  • Strong understanding of the business needs that drive your team’s activities. 
  • High-level understanding of your team’s area(s) of responsibility and how they contribute towards the Groups goals.
