Deliver our fleet of hybrid cars to our members and ride your bicycle in between jobs. You will need to bring your own bicycle but it doesn't need to fold and you won't need to remove your wheel for each car delivery. Must be able to bike 5-15 miles/shift.

We're looking to find a candidate who can work Friday through Tuesday every week from 8am - 4pm daily (Wednesdays + Thursdays off). Part time/hourly is also possible.

Compensation: $40,000/year to start (W2 employee) + 25¢/hr reimbursement (for bicycle gear/maintenance)

Upshift is a rapidly growing transportation startup in San Francisco that provides an easy alternative to owning a car for our members. We provide our members with one of our clean, fully fueled, Priuses or RAV4 hybrid SUVs delivered to their door on the days they need to drive somewhere. Our car memberships eliminate all the headaches of car ownership- and reduce the number of cars on our streets.

You will clean, gas, and deliver our hybrid RAV4 SUVs and Priuses to our members in San Francisco and get between deliveries with your bicycle. You will be treated as a core part of our small team working directly with the CEO and head of operations and will be treated with dignity, respect, fair pay, and pathways to growth. We’re excited to get to know you!

We provide PPE like face masks (KF94), gloves (optional), hand sanitizer, and disinfectant wipes. We have technology to unlock and drive our cars remotely - no meeting to exchange keys. The majority of the time you will be driving and biking alone. Our operations team is all fully vaccinated AND BOOSTED. Everyone in our office building is fully vaccinated (you will need to enter our office briefly at start and end of shift to pick up and drop off supplies). We do everything we can to keep our team and community safe!

Requirements:

- Own a bicycle in working condition that you are comfortable and familiar with riding in San Francisco

- Must be at least 21 years old

- Own an iPhone or Android phone with knowledge of navigation apps like Google Maps or Waze

- Outstanding communication, time management skills, and experience working on a team

- Fast and efficient with strong attention to details

- Clean driving record and familiarity driving in San Francisco

- Willingness to clean cars in the field

- Legal to work in the US

- Previous delivery experience a plus
