Indigo’s Bioprocessing Group is seeking a Lab Tech, Abiotic Screening is to support ongoing laboratory work aimed at characterizing microbial strains and understanding their interactions with the innate plant and soil microbiomes, with the ultimate goal of developing new products with improved and consistent performance.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare plant and microbial screening media in mediaclave
  • Maintain and organize detailed media lot datasheets
  • Sterilize and test seed for germination
  • Prepare supplies for team to run microbe and plant assays
  • Manage lab organization and ordering supplies

Qualifications:

  • An associate degree in biological sciences or biotechnology field with experience in laboratory techniques and equipment
  • Interest in microbiology and/or plants
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel
