Memphis Meats is growing quickly and our team needs a People Operations Generalist to help us bring cell cultured meat to the world. You will be an integral part of strategic talent, recruiting, learning & development, and culture work. This role will also make an important impact by owning POps administration, coordination, and behind-the-scenes human resources processes. The POps Generalist will have a unique opportunity to partner across the organization on various high-visibility programs and initiatives that will enable our team to operate effectively and efficiently. The POps team is dynamic and passionate, fueled by enabling the Memphis Meats team to be their very best and to have the best career experience possible. We need you, as a core POps team member, to help us achieve our goals. The ideal candidate for this role has exceptional communication and organizational skills; a drive to learn and grow; solid business insights; enjoys collaboration and partnership; is adaptable and resilient in the face of change; and has passion for solving interesting organizational challenges.

Duties include

  • Owning our new hire onboarding program, ensuring every new team member is inspired and excited to begin their journey at MM.
  • Creating and owning our POps data analytics. Influence the strategy of team member engagement & business goals.
  • Being the face of the POps team, responding to both internal and external requests.
  • Working with everyone in the company to understand how we keep MM the greatest company to work for. Drive initiatives around personal sustainability, team dynamics, culture, and individual development.
  • Partnering with POps functions, such as Recruiting and Learning & Development, to support the design and implementation of company-wide programs and initiatives.
  • Contributing to POps frameworks, policies, and tools, ensuring compliance with specified design principles, internal policies, and external legal requirements
  • Managing and maintaining team member data in our HRIS and in other systems, including our LMS and performance management system
  • Supporting administrative operations, including benefits, leave requests, offboarding, and compliance.
