Cell Performance and Integration Data Processing Intern

Role Description
The Performance and Integration team is looking for a summer intern to work within the Cell Performance team to assist in battery data analysis and processing. This member of the team will work closely with experienced electrochemists, data engineers, and battery engineers improving access to, and information gathered from, Form’s next generation battery data. This is a unique opportunity to improve electrochemistry skills, learn advanced battery specific data processing, and be exposed to Form’s unique battery data sets.  Knowledge of batteries/electrochemistry is not needed, but an interest in learning more about this topic is desired.  

What You'll Do:

• Develop data processing functions using a database as the input. 
• Produce standard data analysis python templates.
• Support development of testing updates using automated python scripts. 
• Create dashboards to track cell performance improvements. 

What you'll bring:

• Background with functional programming Familiarity with data structures (Either Google Sheets/Pandas/MySQL etc.)
• Understanding of chemistry at the college level.
• Experience with fitting models or optimization strategies. Strong communication skills within a group of peers and broader team.
• Willingness to contribute to organizational and technical problem solvingHigh attention to detail.
