Tradewater is a mission-based company headquartered in Chicago and operating around the world. We collect, manage, and destroy greenhouse gases. Our projects are designed to fight the climate crisis and create economic development opportunities. The gases that we work to destroy primarily come from old refrigerants, which are some of the worst greenhouse gases ever made. The destruction of these refrigerants result in carbon offset credits that individuals or organizations purchase to offset their carbon footprint.
At Tradewater, we believe that our ability to have an impact fighting the climate crisis begins and ends with our staff and culture. We are looking for a Human Resources leader who is passionate about growing, developing, and taking great care of our team as they take on one of the biggest challenges the world faces today. Tradewater is a dynamic and growing company, and we are looking for a leader who is excited to build our capacities and wrestle with questions like the following: As we emerge from this pandemic, what does the future of work and the workplace look like? How do we use information technology and other practices to collaborate with our team members when they are across the globe and also across the conference room table? How do we optimize the use of our physical spaces to help us achieve our goals? What does it really look like to live our values and our commitment to being an anti-racist company? How do we support our team with pursuing big audacious goals without burning out?
Tradewater currently has thirty-six employees across the United States and an international team of seven headquartered out of Costa Rica with team members around the world. This role is full-time and based out of our Chicago office, located at 1411 W. Carroll Ave.
