Director, Software QA

What You Will Be Doing

  • As a Software QA Engineer, you will be a key member of the ChargePoint QA team responsible for ensuring high quality standards across our product suite 
  • You will work closely with the Cloud & Platform Engineering and Product teams, identify components for security testing, create test plans and execute penetration testing assessments
  • This position requires an individual who is a team player, an excellent communicator, creative, data driven and results oriented 

Requirements

  • 4+ years of proven industry experience in application and infrastructure penetration testing
  • Good understanding of network and OS principles
  • Good knowledge of security testing tools such as Burp Suite Pro, w3af, Nessus, nmap, and proxy tools
  • A good working knowledge of a variety of security technologies, including network and application firewalls, host-intrusion prevention and anti-virus
  • Experience with industry best practices such as the Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP)
  • Relevant security qualifications (such as OSCP, CISA, CEH, CASP or CISSP)
  • experienced in software development/testing
  • Knowledge of how modern web apps are designed, developed and deployed across different platforms
  • Knowledge in testing mobile applications (iOS/Android)
  • Experience in software QA methodologies, tools and processes
  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Possess excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, must be self-motivated, willing to learn new concepts, technologies and products quickly
