Quality Assurance Supervisor

OVERVIEW
The QA Supervisor will have the opportunity to champion quality, food safety, and sanitation for their shift within the Beyond Meat facility located in Malvern, PA. This opportunity is a 2nd shift position with 4 x 10-hour days, including 1 weekend day per week.

RESPONSIBILITES

• Leadership: Oversee a team of QA and Sanitation, including staffing, performance management, disciplinary actions, timecard approval, and coaching for success. Partner with Operations Leaders to ensure that all products meet requirements by providing subject matter expertise, and ensure a successful handoff to sanitation at the end of the shift.
• Documentation: Review on-shift documentation, utilize local ERP system to quarantine and release product as required, ensure the collection of required samples and retain product, and ensure sanitation protocols are followed.
• Continuous Improvement: Act as a system owner for assigned QA and Sanitation systems and identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives, including development of SOPs, training modules, etc.

QUALFICIATIONS

• Experience in quality assurance and/or supervisory experience required.
• High School Diploma/ General Education Development required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Basic English proficiency; Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Position requires working in refrigerated conditions (<40oF) primarily and some time in freezer conditions (<10oF). Position requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, kneel, bend, and consistently lift up to 50 lbs.
