Job Description

Arcadia is a technology company revolutionizing the energy industry. We make choosing clean energy easy for everyone, no matter where you live or who your utility provider is. Founded in 2015, Arcadia set out with one purpose that continues to drive us today: a 100% clean energy future.

Tackling one of the world’s biggest challenges – climate change – requires out-of-the-box thinking and diverse perspectives, so we’re building a team of individuals from all different backgrounds, industries, and educational experiences. If you share our passion for building a future powered by 100% renewable energy, we look forward to receiving your application and learning what you would uniquely bring to our organization!

What we’re looking for:

Arcadia is seeking an experienced direct-to-consumer Senior Marketing Analyst to join our Data Science & Analytics team and support the Marketing team.

You will analyze data to shape Marketing strategy, uncover opportunities for customer growth, and communicate recommendations at all levels of the organization. You will attack complex, interesting, and impactful questions and eventually become the subject matter expert and lead on the analytics team. You will be responsible for the full data analysis lifecycle -- including problem definition, data preparation, analysis, synthesis, and recommendations.

This role is based in Washington, D.C., or New York City, NY and will report to the Senior Quantitative Analyst.

What you'll do:

  • Drive the full lifecycle of data-driven decision-making across our marketing efforts
    • Problem definition: Deeply understand our direct-to-consumer business, our goals, our customer acquisition targets, and turn them into quantitative problems we can solve.
    • Data preparation: Use our platform data, web analytics data like Segment, and third-party data to size, segment, and build audiences for marketing campaigns.
    • Analysis: Using a wide range of methodologies, analyze campaign performance and automate reporting using business intelligence tools to drive future investment decisions.
    • Synthesis: Don’t just run the numbers; interpret what they mean and communicate them clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences to influence how we operate.
    • Recommendations: Translate insights into meaningful business recommendations. Bolster marketing automation initiatives (performance reporting, scoring, nurturing, triggering, gating, and experimentation) as well as recommend improved multi-touch attribution models.

What will help you succeed:

Must-haves:

  • 3+ years of work experience in direct-to-consumer marketing analytics
  • Advanced SQL, Excel, and Tableau (or other BI tool) skillset
  • Advanced data analysis skills in Python or R
  • Deep understanding of statistical methods as well as experimental design and analysis
  • Knowledge of digital advertising platforms including Google and Facebook as well as web analytics data platforms like Google Analytics and Segment
  • Experience with marketing attribution models
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, demonstrated experience briefing senior leaders on outcomes & recommendations, and an interest in teaching others
  • Flexibility and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment with evolving needs

Benefits:

  • Market-based compensation (salary + equity)
  • Healthcare, dental, vision, 401(k) and commuter benefits
  • Paid Time Off (holidays, vacation, professional development, volunteer, parental leave)
  • Professional development opportunities
  • All-company lunches
  • Free clean energy
  • A chance to decarbonize and disrupt the energy sector
Eliminating carbon footprints, eliminating carbon copies.   Here at Arcadia, we cultivate diversity, celebrate individuality, and believe unique perspectives are key to our collective success in creating a clean energy future. Arcadia is committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any status protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.
