About the Role:
Imperfects transportation Logistics Clerk will support our logistics, Line-Haul and Last Mile operations. The position is responsible for maintaining the daily clerical operations needed to support the operations logistics team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintaining driver electronic logging systems hours of service driver compliance
  • Responsible for ensuring vehicle inspection reports are accurately detailed and advising drivers on errors to prevent recurrence
  • Responsible for reviewing vehicle maintenance compliance and reporting deficiencies to each fulfillment center
  • Reviewing of all shipping paperwork provided from the drivers such as BOL's, weight tickets, etc. Scanning and uploading all load documentation into electronic system
  • Reviewing and recording all credit card receipts submitted by the drivers and comparing them to the banking statements
  • Bringing up any misuse, unauthorized purchases and purchases with no receipts to Management
  • Reviewing fuel usage reports and reporting inaccuracies to the proper fulfillment center
  • Supervising metrics and reporting trends impacting service levels to each responsible fulfillment center
  • Other duties as required

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain positive attitude
  • Have strong attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills - solid understanding of google applications

Details of the Position:

  • Temp to Perm: After 90 Full-time
  • non-exempt position reporting to the Transportation Safety and Compliance manager
  • The position is based out of our warehouse in LAX
  • Benefits include accrued sick time, and a monthly credit toward your Imperfect Foods account

Physical Requirements:

  • Sedentary work; predominantly involves sitting most of the time

How we are protecting employees from COVID-19
At Imperfect Foods, employee health and safety is our top priority. We have implemented processes and precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our facilities. We provide gloves, masks, and hand sanitizer to all essential employees who must report to work. Before entering our warehouse, employees have their temperatures checked. In addition, we take great care to ensure frequently touched surfaces are sanitized throughout the day and all warehouses are fully sanitized weekly.
We have also implemented an Emergency Sick Leave policy providing full-time and part-time employees 2 additional weeks of paid time off and up to 26 weeks paid leave if they have a confirmed case of COVID-19.
