  • Leading the planning and execution of the Good Food Conference, GFC’s flagship event, including event team coordination, program/session development, technical production, venue and on-site logistics, attendee experience, marketing/promotions, and evaluation.
  • Assisting with the execution of various GFI community-based events and programming throughout the year (e.g., GFIdeas, Alt Protein Project, etc.).
  • Collaborating closely with the program teams to create effective event marketing campaigns, achieve desired event outcomes, and measure event success as it relates to our mission.
  • Leading, managing, and motivating staff and volunteer teams pre-, during, and post-event.
  • Coordinating with the development and program teams to raise sponsorship dollars and in-kind donations for events, including serving as a GFI liaison with key external partners.
  • Supporting event leads with managing and reconciling budgets, expenses, vendor contracts, and timelines for major org-level events.
  • Drafting event debriefs that analyze post-event survey results and include recommended improvements to future programming.
  • Hiring and overseeing the work of contractors and vendors.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
