Lab Technician, Analytical

As the newest member of the Bioanalytical-QC team you will help contribute to a cross-functional team in a fast paced, collaborative environment.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION

• Perform routine sample preparation for and operation of UHPLCs with minimal supervision
• Follow written procedures (SOP's) with attention to detail and a focus on quality
• Preparation of reagents and buffer solutions for the various analytical procedures
• Perform calculations, checking and interpretation of results where applicable
• Assist with equipment calibration, maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Perform necessary housekeeping duties in a timely manner, keeping the work areas and equipment clean and sanitized.
• Work in a team, being proactive in your work, seeking opportunities to build your understanding, and contributing to a collegial environment.
• Maintain timely and thorough documentation of work.
• Maintain a high degree of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Associate degree in biology, chemistry or relevant field. prior work experience in a laboratory environment is preferred
• Must demonstrate excellent team communication, coordination and cooperation.
• Must demonstrate ability to follow standard and non-standard procedures
• work on a scheduled weekend rotation based on the needs of the lab
• Candidate must possess a high level of technical aptitude, excellent communication, organization, and collaborative skills, and demonstrated ability to innovate, troubleshoot, and thrive in a dynamic cross-functional team environment.
• Maintain a high degree of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
• Capable of high performance in independent work and in team setting.
• Strong desire to work in multi-disciplinary teams, learn new skills and proactively solve problems
