SUMMARY

Nexamp is looking for an IT Help Desk & Infrastructure Technician to be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, both hardware, and software. This position would respond to queries, isolate problems, determine solutions, document, and implement fixes, as well as work on continuing infrastructure projects and improvements in a fast-growing environment. A significant portion of support requests will be handled remotely via phone and remote desktop.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as a first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance over the phone, via email, or web.
  • Assist with and potentially lead ongoing Help Desk and infrastructure improvement projects.
  • Perform hands on and remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and asking pertinent questions.
  • Determining the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers.
  • Walk the employee through the problem-solving process.
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
  • Record events and problems and their resolution.
  • Follow-up and update customer status and information.
  • Pass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team.
  • Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, hands-on, results-oriented and a team player. Key qualifications:

  • Microsoft experience including: Office 365 (especially SharePoint, Teams, and collaboration tools), Windows 10, and working within an Active Directory Domain.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve workstation technical issues.
  • Bonus experience: Azure AD, Intune, Power Automate, MacOS, iOS, Salesforce, NetSuite.
  • Proficiency in English and excellent communication skills.
  • Customer-oriented.
  • BSc/BA in IT, Computer Science or relevant field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Ability to occasionally lift 35 pounds to 4-5 feet in height.
