Where in the world of OVO will I be working? 

Reporting into the Creative Studio Senior Project Manager for the Experience Migration project, the Creative Studio Project Manager will play an exciting role in one of the most exceptional tasks our business has undertaken to date.

You will be project managing the delivery of brand and communications deliverables for print and digital channels within a Creative Studio Project Management team set up to deliver the Experience Migration project.  The team will need to deliver a significant volume of communications and you will work alongside supporting the Senior Brand Operations Manager and other Creative Studio Senior Project manager to achieve this. 

You’ll have experience working with copywriters and designers, as well as cross-functional teams from Marketing to Product and beyond. Projects will be fast moving and have tight turnarounds, attention to detail and people skills are imperative. You will utilise strong project management skills to ensure work is produced to brief, and to the required timings.  

This project is complex in nature and you will need to be skilled in simplifying the complicated, communicating clearly and working at speed without compromising the quality of output.

This role will suit someone who is personable and has experience handling multiple partners and differing requirements. A calm, clear problem solver who is always ‘on it’,  you will thrive in a fast paced environment, understand digital products and services and feel at home in matrix organisations. 

What will I be doing?

You will be part of a tight knit project team working purely on this change project, but you will have regular engagement with the brand and marketing team for support and guidance.  You will also be hands on with cross functional teams from marketing, tech, compliance all the way to the UX/UI community. 

You will need to be working at a fast but efficient pace, bringing order and clarity into a team environment. Always hands on, with bucket loads of fun. 

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day proactive project management of member migration projects in the Creative Studio, guidance of project progress to team and partners, creative resource planning, management and coordination of all project deliverables
  • Work with partners to develop creative briefs, ensuring all tasks are clearly defined for the studio creative team
  • Ensuring all creative  assets  are delivered on time and spec and and raising any risks or blockers as needed  
  • Support the Senior Project Manager on facilitating project set up & admin where required
  • Send regular updates to the Senior Project Manager and partners on the progress of the project, raising any risks / issues as needed
  • Participate in Creative Studio status meetings - to share updates, brief the team and resolve questions 
  • Set up project folders, trackers, Slack groups, meetings, and other project collateral / tools as needed
  • Ensure all teams adhere to project processes and tools - identifying inefficiencies or opportunities for improvement along the way
  • Guide and motivate the Junior Project Managers through challenges 
  • Support the Senior Brand Operations Manager as and when required, providing project management and admin support 

Is this the job for me? 

This person will have a track record in delivering creative work for Marketing, Product or

Internal Brand teams ideally in fast paced, retailing environments. They will also have experience supporting a wider team with key initiatives. They will have;

  • A wealth of experience in project management, ideally in house brand side, agency applicants will be considered if skills align
  • Proven experience of supporting projects that are already moving and an ability to add value from day one. Specific experience of the project management of marketing and brand teams and their interface into wider (preferably digital businesses) is a must.
  • Experience delivering high-quality digital branded content across a breadth channels, platforms and mediums
  • Relish the challenge of a fast paced, matrix working environment
  • Proactive project manager used to working to tight timeframes
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic
  • Calm whilst working with levels of ambiguity and adept at bringing order and clarity into a team environment
  • You will have a solid practical understanding of waterfall methodologies, an understanding of Agile methodologies would be favourable not not a necessity
  • A real people person who develops meaningful working relationships quickly and maintains them successfully
  • An exemplary teammate, at their best when working within a collective to deliver a shared vision
  • Energy and positivity; the person everyone wants to have in the room
  • Incredible organisation in a way which instills confidence into all
  • Communication & organisation skills are critical - you will be coordinating multiple partners across multiple tasks from multiple projects daily
  • Experience using Project Management systems (IE Jira or equivalent) and Resourcing Tools (IE Float or equivalent)
  • Experience using G-Suite
