Indigo improves grower profitability, environmental sustainability, and consumer health through the use of natural microbiology and digital technologies. As a member of the GeoInnovation team, the Customer Analytics intern will use analytics and data science skills to elicit insights about multitudes of questions about an Indigo customer’s journey. They will work to understand Indigo’s customer data assets, learn business pain points around customer acquisition, retention, and churn, and build analytical solutions and products to address those pain points.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish solid understanding of all data assets centered on the Indigo customer - about their interactions with Indigo sales, marketing, and product platform.
  • Translating data assets into meaningful visualizations that support actionable business decisions
  • Building a spectrum of models to power go to market teams’ actions - e.g., predictive models to track customer’s propensity to enroll with Indigo products or their risk to leave our business. Modeling frameworks to describe driving factors behind such propensities.

Qualifications:

  • Comfortable working with SQL and python
  • Experience creating visualizations with python
  • Ability to quickly learn visualization tools like Tableau and Looker
  • Attention to detail, and inclination to compose good written and visual communication
  • Ability to work in collaborative environment with cross-functional teams
  • Course work in probability and statistics, machine learning, predictive modeling, and other analytical courses.
