Responsibilities:
  • Collects and compiles HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the human resource information system (HRIS) and payroll outputs, management and employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records
  • Maintain documentation of compliance activities, such as audit outcomes
  • File appropriate compliance reports with regulatory agencies as needed
  • Verify that all regulatory policies and procedures have been detailed, implemented, and communicated
  • Keep informed regarding pending industry changes, trends, and standard methodologies and assess the potential impact of these changes on organizational processes
  • Prepare management reports regarding compliance operations and progress
  • Assist in implementing improvements in communication, monitoring, or enforcement of compliance standards
  • Ensure timely execution of time-sensitive Compliance and People team functions
  • Assisting in drafting clear and concise written reports summarizing key findings, observations, and overall conclusions for each regulatory compliance review
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies
  • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to handle sensitive information appropriately
  • Ability to work in web-based, data-management, workflow and communication platforms like Salesforce is a plus
  • Must be able to review and analyze data reports and manuals (SOPs); must be computer proficient
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in G-Suite
Education & Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years experience conducting HR audits
  • Solid understanding of multiple human resource subject areas and federal and state respective employment laws
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Certified Professional or SHRM Senior Certified Professional credential highly preferred
