Sr. Manager, QA

The Digital Cockpit Team is responsible for defining the digital experience in all of NIO’s premium smart EVs.  It designs and implements software and hardware to enable the ultimate living room experience for our luxury, electric, autonomous vehicles.
We are looking for an experienced hands-on technical QA Manager, who can guide the team in creating smart test strategies, delivering testing assets on time and help build excellent partnership with development, cross functional teams. Part of the job will be hands on testing along side other team members.

Responsibilities

• Managing day to day activities of test engineers. 
• Building on existing and creating new automation strategies for testing automotive infotainment platform. 
• Hiring and nurturing great talent. 
• Working with product development and program management to set expectations and drive delivery. 
• Hands on validation of infotainment

Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related technical degree.
• 4+ years of people management experience.
• 7+ years of hands of experience in software validation. 
• Expert in general Quality Assurance methodologies and tools.
• Expert in testing under UI, Linux, Android, and one or more RTOS.
• Experience in script language development (Python, Perl, shell scripts, etc.).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in multi-site development organizations.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience testing automotive infotainment platform
• Full professional proficiency in Mandarin
