Installer Onboarding & Training (O&T) Manager

As the EnergySage Onboarding & Training Manager, you are the primary point of contact for Installer Partners’ initial journey with EnergySage – leading them through our self-service training curriculum (EnergySage University) and helping them become adept at leveraging our platform for efficient customer acquisition. Your primary focus is to take installers from Month 0 to Month 6, ensuring that they hit Month 6 with momentum and the tools for long-term success. EnergySage connects consumers with knowledgeable, pre-vetted installers. That begins with you!

 What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as the main transition point between business development and the Partner Success Manager -- facilitating a rapid and effective introduction to the platform, and setting up those installers for long-term success
  • Coordinate the progression of installers through the EnergySage onboarding training curriculum – EnergySage University (ESU)
  • Inform and evolve our onboarding and training approach-- including processes and content– making it more effective and efficient
  • Build relationships with key personnel at each installer quickly – earning their trust and showing them how to succeed on EnergySage.com
  • Train new Installer Partner companies and new sales representatives on the features and functionality of the marketplace while coaching best practices for achieving success
  • Continuously monitor the early marketplace platform activity of your Installer Partners, leverage performance data to proactively identify improvement opportunities and effectively coach them on how to realize optimal outcomes
  • In a nutshell: You are successful when your Installer Partners are successful

What We Look For:

  • Experience with training and onboarding, especially in a B2B or SaaS environment
  • Proven track record nurturing long-term business relationships throughout partner organizations, preferably with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and business relationships
  • Passion for training and continuous education
  • Metrics-driven mindset – curious about data, and able to iterate processes based on data and customer insights
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a high level of autonomy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a variety of external and internal stakeholders
  • Exceptional customer service and attention to detail
  • Diplomatic problem solver & team player
  • Solar industry and/or experience working with home improvement contractors is a plus
  • Affinity for protecting the environment, sustainability practices, or mission-driven work
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
