Role: Health & Safety Manager 

Location: Flexible across any of our offices

Where in the world of OVO will I be working? 

Reporting to the Head of Health and Safety, in our Risk and Compliance team, you’ll play an integral part making sure health and safety is managed across OVO Group. You’ll work with senior teams to make sure compliance with our legislative obligations and controls are in place to help manage risks.

What will I be doing?

You’ll support the Head of Health and Safety in developing and implementing the health and safety strategy. No two days will be the same and you’ll flex your focus across various businesses to help keep people, assets and the environment safe from harm.

Key responsibilities include:
● Act as an independent, competent advisor to the business including industry specific technical safety, occupational safety, health and wellbeing
● Support the business during crisis management events and significant incident investigations
● Work with the business to cocreate policies and standards to manage risks
● Monitor and report on performance

● You’ve excellent analytical skills

Is this the job for me? 

Ideally you will have:

● Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Management (NEBOSH / BSC or equivalent)
● Graduate Member of IOSH
● Minimum 3 years experience in a similar senior health and safety role
● A good knowledge of health and safety legislation
● Excellent understanding of developing and implementing safety management systems.
