Madly growing and located in Seattle, Washington we are seeking a full-time Director of eCommerce to join our team. If you enjoy working in a collaborative environment and are looking to support a dynamic team, read on.
Our Director of eCommerce will be responsible for owning and driving the largest channel of Rad Power Bikes’ business. They will lead Global site feature updates and drive customer facing functionality as well as product management, site merchandising, customer experience, analytics, A/B testing, with P&L Management for this business. This role will report directly to our Chief Revenue Officer, with key partnerships across marketing, technology, supply chain and product organizations. 

Why You’re Rad (about you):

  • 15+ years of proven leadership in a complex, product driven, multi-channel retail environment, guiding teams, process, and technology in a manner that aligns with the company’s values and overall performance
  • Highly adept and capable of building and maintaining trusted relationships across the business as well as with the company’s external partners; ability to actively engage stakeholders at all levels and attract, develop, and retain world class talent
  • Highly capable of managing and directing across digital experience including information architecture, design & aesthetics, content, navigation, and functionality delivery
  • Proven experience in P&L management and driving profitable, sustainable growth for an e-commerce business
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the digital landscape, including native and web applications, omni channel retail, fulfilment, site merchandising, SEO, social media, digital and email marketing and analytics
  • Experience forecasting, analyzing, and projecting core E-commerce KPIs such as demand, revenue, margin, inventories, traffic, conversion, AOV, LTV, CAC, etc

Additional Requirements:

  • Impeccable interpersonal and communications skills
  • Deep experience with Shopify, Salesforce or similar ecommerce platform

  • Experience with retail planning, forecasting, buying and merchandising 
  • Performance/Growth Marketing best practices that result in customer/client acquisition, retention, loyalty and growth
  • International ecommerce experience, best practices and knowledge of digital marketing, supply chain and operations to support international sales.

  • Leading a team consisting of product management, user experience, and site merchandising ensuring the team is maximizing sales while offering an unrivaled customer experience while operating with Rad’s values
  • Owning Rad’s eCommerce growth strategy and execution, both maximizing current tactics and unlocking new opportunities to drive profitable growth 
  • Creating a digital environment that represents Rad Power Bikes’ values and provides a superior user experience for the customer with compelling visual presentation, easy navigation and an efficient shopping experience
  • Leveraging customer sentiment via NPS, reviews, surveys, and referral activity and lead testing program from hypothesis development, experiment design, data gathering and data analysis
  • Leading all aspects of web analytics related to eCommerce and communicate relevant information to team members, executive leadership and cross-functional partners
  • Worked with Rad’s Leadership and Finance teams to build, forecast and execute the E-commerce Strategic Plan and the Annual Operating Budget
  • Partnering with marketing to direct integrated campaigns that will deliver an increase in acquisition, conversion rates, overall order size and manage margin performance across a variety of product lines
  • Additional duties & overtime as required
