The Director, Sales Operations will work hand in hand with the other leaders of the Consumer Products team and play a key role in the execution of total sales strategy. Working as a key member of the Consumer Products team, the Director of Sales Operations will be responsible for managing all support functions in order to maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of the Consumer Products team. 

Responsibilities

  • Analysis of how sales revenue can be increased and optimized 
  • Sales forecasting and planning 
  • Oversee Project Management
  • Oversee Vendor Management
  • Budget and financial planning
  • Supporting the sales team to ensure they reach their monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets
  • Develop key performance metrics and make recommendations and reports 
  • Optimise the sales process, identify underperforming areas of business and identify the most opportune trends of the future 
  • Ensure the sales team is using the best practices & tools, identify new tech to maximise workflow
  • Prioritising tasks of the sales operations and sales demonstration teams
  • Ensure account profitability for both Bird and it’s clients
  • Promote a positive attitude and be a team player.

Requirements

  • 8+ Years of Sales operations experience
  • Strong experience of integrating with sales, marketing, supply chain, logistics, finance, operations 
  • Understanding of the Consumer Product and retail market including deep knowledge of Suppliers, Operators, DMOs, and DMCs 
  • Ability to hold meetings with industry leaders and key decision makers 
  • Should be very proficient in computer skills and knowledge of Google GSuite
  • Strong experience working with Salesforce, NetSuite and other CRM 
  • Must be customer-focused with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to adapt and work at a fast pace and under pressure
  • Must be able to follow direction from senior leadership to prioritize the support of sales goals
  • Must be able to effectively manage a team 
  • Bachelor’s degree required
