Where in the world of OVO will I be working? 

The Senior Performance Marketing Executive is responsible for the planning, execution and delivery of SSE’s performance acquisition and cross sell campaign activity in a highly competitive consumer-facing environment. This role will focus on delivering performance across our Energy and Smart products and include supporting x-sell of other products.

The Senior Performance Marketing Executive is responsible for the day-to-day management of PPC, affiliate, display, and paid social channels, delivering on time and against budget whilst meeting agreed targets. The Senior Performance Marketing Executive is required to not only plan and implement those digital campaigns but also to maintain their ongoing optimisation, working closely with the business and wider marketing team to ensure seamless integration across all online and offline channels.

What will I be doing?

Key responsibilities include:

  • Day to day management of performance channels, including planning and  delivering campaigns and measuring results
  • Responsible for the account management of Performance Agencies, partners and 3rd parties, and collaborating closely with internal partners on approach, business priorities and results.
  • Continued optimisation of acquisition channels and the identification of future investment opportunities. Taking into account the end-to-end customer experience across all digital channels to ensure a holistic approach.
  • Budget management and control of channel spend to ensure that targets are met and budgets are allocated in an optimal and efficient way. 
  • Measure ROI of campaigns, ensuring a continual test and learn approach to plan the most effective activity and ensure in-flight campaigns are optimised. Assesses the effectiveness of different channels by robustly testing hypotheses that feed into future marketing strategies.
  • Act as an ambassador for OVO group’s policies, values and culture to other teams and individuals within OVO group. Champion a safe and healthy environment and culture for all involved with the department

Is this the job for me?

Ideally you will have:

  • Performance Marketing experience leading performance campaigns 
  • A strong grasp of performance measurement and analytics
  • Proficient user of analytics tools and attribution modelling techniques
  • Strong performance and tactical creative judgement
  • Highly proficient in forecasting performance budgets
  • Ability to drive clear and measurable ROI
  • Ability to analyse and craft business processes
  • Ability to identify when changes to digital acquisition channels will affect business processes
  • Regulation and compliance knowledge
  • Industry and product knowledge
  • Prioritisation and conflict management
  • Risk assessment
  • Business case development
  • Facilitation skills
