We are seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to oversee our Accounting team and provide support to leaders across our hyper-growth business. In this role you will oversee daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Cash, Revenue, Inventory, Payroll and Taxes. You will also own the month-end close process including coordination with our domestic and international subsidiaries and consolidations. 
This role reports to the Director of Accounting and is based in the Seattle area.

Why You’re Rad (about you):

  • 10+ years of experience in a variety of accounting roles 
  • 5+ years of experience managing accounting teams and partnering with senior leadership
  • BA/BS in Accounting
  • Strong working knowledge of US GAAP principles and proficiency in enterprise accounting systems
  • A track record of scaling an accounting function through rapid growth, ideally working with multiple international entities
  • Strong ability improve systems and processes through collaboration with cross-functional teams 
  • Equally comfortable overseeing the work of others and digging into the details yourself
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

You get bonus points for:

  • C.P.A. or experience in a public accounting environment 
  • Experience in online direct-to-consumer businesses 
  • Experience with NetSuite, Shopify, Tipalti 

Had you been with us last month, you would have:

  • Improved our accounting close process and associated reporting to better serve business functions 
  • Assisted in building out international structure, considering multi-currency functionality, international tax and international payroll 
  • Coordinated and prioritized multiple growth-stage activities impacting the accounting team and deliverables 
  • Oversaw efforts to reconcile imported records in new ERP to historically reported financial statements for accuracy and completeness 
  • Built-out sales tax functionality in systems and supported timely filings and necessary registrations
  • Partnered with FP&A peer to improve sub-account structure for reporting and recording new activities
  • Performed year-end tax planning and discussed updated transfer pricing methodology
