OVERVIEW 

Are you an experienced, people-oriented professional with a Soil Carbon, Engineering or Science background looking to elevate your career with one of the world's fastest-growing clean technology companies? We are constantly adding new generations of talent to our Project Management Office, which plays a crucial part in Terramera's research & development success. Project Managers will be dedicated to R&D and Soil Carbon projects and provide leadership to multi-disciplinary teams working to advance the mission of the Company. This job function demonstrates exceptional communication skills, emotional intelligence and project management skills. This position receives coaching and guidance from the VP of Research & Development and current Project Managers and works closely with the functional team leaders in multi-disciplinary environments across the organization. 

YOUR MISSION

To define and execute strategic projects, while leading cross-functional project teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions within timeline and budget.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Initiate projects according to the Company’s processes, including generating project charters, gathering requirements and developing projects plans, budgets and schedules
  • Track project progress according to project plans, methods, procedures and metrics
  • Assemble resources and key decision makers from across the organization to deliver defined scope of work and support
  • Provides leadership and direction to assigned project teams
  • Participates in the development and management of resource plans and budget
  • Participates in the ongoing development and improvement of best practices and methodologies for project management at Terramera
  • Maintain appropriate professional designation and up to date knowledge on related technology and tools
  • Performs other related duties and tasks as required

REQUIREMENTS

  • Post-secondary degree in Science, Engineering, or relevant discipline
  • PMP or PRINCE II certification, or working towards certification
  • 4+ years of project management experience with a proven track record of building and leading project teams
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Experience managing the complete lifecycle of projects
  • Experience managing projects in a scientific and/or engineering oriented environment
