What You Will Be Doing

ChargePoint seeks an experienced Supply Chain professional with a heightened attention to detail and analytical prowess for role of Senior Spares Manager. This person will complete various Supply Chain tasks within the Global Fulfillment and Logistics team. Tasks include forecasting, planning, and managing spares parts for many inventory locations within ChargePoint’s network as well as partners’ and customers’ remote locations; leverage ERP systems to develop, run, and maintain Microsoft Excel reports as well as other dashboards (e.g. Tableau Server); develop, document, and follow standardize processes as well as work on continuous process improvements related to inventory management and spares field support; as well as supporting logistical, fulfillment, and material returns responsibilities. The Senior Spares Manager role is a Full-time position.

Responsibilities

  • Planning for spares parts demand globally using advanced industry standards and statistical methodologies.
  • Implement new data analysis methodologies to monitor and measure performance against organizational goals and service level agreements.
  • Actively manage and transact spares parts inventory located within all ChargePoint’s customers’ and partners’ inventory locations, comprising of all North America and Europe.
  • Maintain monthly inventory reconciliation with customers and partners holding spare parts at their location and upholding contractual obligations from all parties.
  • Partnering with ChargePoint’s Customer Support team in projects related to field support as well as support daily inventory requests and spares demand.
  • Drive continuous process improvements throughout the organization and find opportunities to develop a superior supply chain using a variety of data analysis and organizational tools to uncover insights.
  • Support reverse logistics operations from field support and refurbishment activities.
  • Review and approve ECOs related to spares parts.
  • Maintain large datasets and report accurately and within a determined cadence to management.
  • Processing customer and account source documents by reviewing information and identifying issues.
  • Work cross organizations to identify problems, find root cause, implement containment plans, drive supply chain optimization for long term solutions, and continuous process improvements.
  • Support activities related to ChargePoint’s Logistics and Fulfillment team, including but not limited to managing issue tracking system, coverage for team members, and support sales and field order fulfillment.

Qualification and Desired Skills

  • Supply chain experience related to spares inventory planning, forecasting, management, distribution, NPI, and reverse logistics.
  • 3 or more years of experience in spares management in complex environments and NPI.
  • Excellent knowledge and proficiency in MRP/ERP systems, MS Office programs (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) and programming.
  • Sharp problem-solving and excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and forecasting tools and ability to develop actionable insights from data.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication, organizational skills to build and improve trusting relationships.
  • Must be able to work independently, handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and negotiate and collaborate effectively.
  • Should enjoy a challenging and fast-paced environment and be highly motivated.
  • Minimal travel required.
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree Supply Chain Management or related field required.
