Passionate to eat better, Infarm was founded in Berlin in 2013 by Osnat Michaeli and the brothers Erez and Guy Galonska. With the aim to share the goodness of own-grown produce with everyone, they developed a smart modular farming system, that allows distribution of farms throughout the urban environment, growing fresh produce in any available space and fulfilling any market demand. 

Today, with cutting edge R&D, patented technologies, and a leading multi-disciplinary team, Infarm is growing a global farming network helping cities become self-sufficient in their food production while significantly improving the safety, quality, and environmental footprint of our food.

Responsibilities

We are looking for support for the International Accounting team which currently consists of two Finance Managers taking care of the preparatory accounting of the following European countries:

  • United Kingdom
  • France
  • Denmark
  • Switzerland
  • Netherlands
  • Japan

Accounts Payable (Focus)

  • Performing data entry administration into the finance systems i.e. receipt, invoices, expenses claims, etc. (Xero)
  • Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
  • Manage vendor payments in timely manner

Accounts Receivable 

  • Booking invoices, credit and debit notes, update of the sales ledger, credit control and collection of outstanding debts

Requirements

  • Reliable, structured and independently working but always supported by the entire team
  • Proactive team player with good communication, organizational and coordination skills following the service-oriented solution of problems
  • Good knowledge of Excel, basic skills in PowerPoint and Word
  • Fluent in English is a must and another language knowledge is an advantage, German is a plus
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar field
