The role will be primarily responsible for Commercial compensation data alignment, analysis and strategic insights development as well as sales and customer reporting. In addition, it will also focus on other strategic business operations initiatives that drive Commercial goal execution. This role is based in Memphis, TN or Boston, MA. 

Responsibilities:

  • Become familiar with compensation framework and financial data analysis and alignment across multiple platforms including Salesforce and Marketplace. Competency includes recommendations for plan structure and SPIFs.
  • Conduct regular analysis of compensation plan impact on business performance across all roles and make change recommendations. Coordination with Global Operation, Legal, Finance, and People teams to run all regular compensation reporting
  • Ensure agreements match compensation policies and manage full execution in Xactly
  • Understand enterprise territory management in Salesforce and work closely with sales operations to manage and execute payouts associated with accurate territory data
  • Understand reporting requirements, challenges and work in progress for optimization.  Deliver timely reports required by customers and sales teams
  • Assist the development and execution of various Commercial initiatives including direct management of crop marketing coverage model, with proactive data analytics. Manage data analytics projects with multiple cross-functional teams across the Boston and Memphis offices to execute on key Commercial initiatives
  • Independently oversee GMA payments to ensure accuracy.  Collaborate with GMA team to ensure payout management for SGAs or other GMA associated programs.  Work closely with market leads to support data needs not managed through the offer teams/tech teams
  • Become proficient using Looker and other supporting tools within the BI function (Snowflake, Git, Jira etc.). Construct dashboards in Salesforce and Looker to provide views for our different business units
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of the BI team, our data warehouses, tools and resources in the UDP, Become acquainted with team processes and best practices, Understand existing documentation.  Establish a cadence for delivering against quarterly requirements in a structured and proactive way

Key Qualifications:

  1. BA in Finance, Accounting or another quantitative field, MBA preferred
  2. 3-5 years of working experience in consulting, financial sector, data engineering or another relevant field
  3. Process and/or incentive management experience is plus
  4. Key software experience:
    • Salesforce report and dashboard development
    • Looker or comparable BI development
    • Proficiency in SQL required
  5. Knowledge of SQL is a plus
  6. Excellent Excel skills required
  7. Strong PowerPoint skills
  8. Ag industry background is a plus
