Responsibilities:

  • Be a General Expert for the Farms’ climate systems
  • Elicit, write, analyse, and communicate requirements for  the Farms’ climate systems
  • Collaborate across teams and manage dependencies to develop and ship new features
  • Support the overall hardware product vision and roadmap definition 
  • Translate insights into the Climate System Roadmap, features and detailed requirements
  • Communicate business value and priorities to the Development Teams
  • Partner with the Development teams to deliver maximum business value to the stakeholders
  • Define and analyse product performance metrics for use in product validation and planning
  • Assiduously prioritise for both long and short term impact and ROI
  • Drive continuous product improvement - Feedback and review session 
  • Facilitate efficient cross-company communication by sharing the latest news, developments, and learnings
  • Improve and contribute to product development processes/ways of working
  • Mentor and support junior Team Members 

What will you do?

  • Deliver the Climate System Quarterly Roadmaps 
  • Lead Product Area by owning decisions related to Priority, Feature Scope, and dependencies
  • Write, maintain, and prioritise the Climate System backlog, ensuring requirements are well defined, groomed, estimated with dependencies flagged
  • Foster communication and proactively communicate with stakeholders, users, team members, and peers about upcoming and ongoing development
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Stakeholders 
  • Collaborate with Crop Science and Software to ensure on time delivery of all cross functional features
  • Define specific measurable KPIs for each release to evaluate effectiveness and drive innovation
  • Coordinate with other Product Managers to ensure that the product is cohesive and supports the business strategy
  • Present your Product Area in departmental and interdepartmental meetings
  • Document and maintain all requirements and product documentation 

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of work experience in product management in hardware development, ideally using Agile methodologies
  • Education and work experience related to Climate / HVAC solutions, ideally in an agricultural / vertical farming application
  • Strong analytical, strategic and coordination skills
  • Great people skills paired with a high level of assertiveness
  • Very good communication skills in English
