Director, IT

As a key member of our Operations team and our first dedicated IT professional, you will be responsible for designing and implementing all aspects of Form Energy’s IT infrastructure and programs. As the foundation of our IT organization you will also be responsible for building a small team to support the Form Energy across multiple locations. Success in this role requires a long term vision for a quickly growing company, the technical knowledge to be an advisor to the rest of the organization and a willingness to dive into issues as they arise.

What you'll do:

• Develop a strategic roadmap for IT at Form Energy including network infrastructure, computing hardware, business software, cyber and data security
• Lead major IT projects including implementation of an ERP system, deployment of enterprise level data security policies and establishing physical infrastructure at all Form Energy sites
• Create and deploy system security roadmap to assure the safe remote use and access of company data while maintaining IP
• Work with stakeholders across the organization to understand requirements and design solutions to IT needs
• Build and manage a team of IT professionals and vendors to execute projects and provide daily IT operations support to the business
• Develop and train employees on IT policies, standards and best practices

What you'll need:

• 10+ years of experience in the information technology field, of which at least 5 years in an IT management role
• Experience meeting the needs of a quickly growing organization, including a track record of establishing new programs, policies and systems
• Experience with selection, deployment and management of business tools such as ERP, PLM and CRM systems
• Experience in a cloud environment
• Knowledge of current enterprise level data security practices
• Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships at all levels of the organization
• Strong communication skills, with a focus on stakeholder management
