The company is backed by a diverse set of committed investors and we have raised over $100M to date.We are looking for a Global Supply Manager to directly enable Form’s multi-day energy storage technology development and scale up. This person will lead strategic sourcing and procurement efforts for critical hardware components that comprise Form’s development-scale battery systems and testing infrastructure. The role will be responsible for translating and maintaining complex, evolving sets of data and requirements from multiple fast-moving teams into actionable tasks that support Form’s rapid pace of development. The Global Supply Manager will be both the internal and external point of contact for sourcing and procurement of these battery and infrastructure components, while creating and executing strategies to streamline sourcing activities and drive down costs.The successful candidate will bring quantitative oversight and process-oriented approaches to the sourcing and spend analysis for these materials, while developing positive and productive relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors alike. This position is part of the rapidly growing Supply Chain organization, and will report to the Sr. Manager of Supply Chain. It will engage cross-functionally with Mechanical Engineering, Technical Operations, Facilities, and Finance teams.

What you'll do

  • Procure battery and infrastructure components while minimizing costs, optimizing lead times, mitigating risks, and managing commercial relationships with 15+ vendors
  • Maintain accurate, costed commercial bills of materials (BOMs) across a rapidly evolving array of material components and test fixture equipment
  • Identify, prioritize, and communicate savings opportunities in R&D scale battery and infrastructure components through rigorous spend and forecasting analysis
  • Work with internal (MechE and TechDev teams) and external (diverse vendor landscape) stakeholders to implement identified opportunities, negotiate and capture savings for the company

What you'll bring

  • Quantitative, analytical, data-driven decision maker
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, finance, engineering or other quantitative discipline
  • >2 years professional experience in supply chain, procurement, consulting, or mechanical engineering - Experience in manufacturing, battery, metals and/or chemicals industries a plus
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize efforts, and effectively communicate progress and strategic roadmaps
  • Must be able to work in the US and travel globally as necessary
