The Opportunity at Volta ChargingVolta is growing - and the key to our success is our people. Our Talent Acquisition team operates as strategic partners to hiring leaders and teams across the business, enabling our teams to optimize their growth through leading practices. Tapping into deep expertise in talent acquisition, and leveraging strong partnership with hiring leaders, the full-cycle Talent Acquisition Partner will source, engage and hire exceptional talent at Volta. 
This role is based in San Francisco and reports to the Head of Talent Acquisition.

In your first 90 days, you will

  • Become an expert in Volta’s hiring experience and workflows, supporting hiring leaders and interview panels to ensure they have the information, feedback, resources and confidence to hire effectively and efficiently for their teams through the lens of diversity
  • Develop relationships with hiring leaders to understand their needs, build trust, and align on hiring strategy for their teams
  • Master telling the Volta story and mission to candidates
  • Prioritize extraordinary candidate experience and extreme efficiency, averaging 15 calls a week + hiring a few new Voltans

After twelve months, you will have accomplished

  • Data fluency for pipeline analysis and diagnosis: You’re able to identify what’s humming and what needs laser-focused attention, make recommendations for tweaks to address issues, and implement changes to improve your pipeline health. This is reflected in your ability to achieve your hiring objectives. 
  • Keen awareness of process consistency: You’re comfortable with the role consistent process plays in diversity and scaling, and are equally comfortable recognizing and being flexible when evolution is afoot and process needs an update to get ahead of it 
  • Employer brand champion: As Volta grows, so our brand and messaging evolves. You’re an active participant alongside your TA team peers to develop our brand and EVP, and bring it to life in how we engage communities and candidates
  • Strong effectiveness ratings from client groups: Hiring leaders, panelists and candidates rave about the market insights and TA expertise you bring to amplify their hiring abilities, the support you provide to help them attract excellent team mates, and the high-touch care you give that makes them feel like they’re Volta’s one & only

What you bring to Volta Charging

  • Background in talent acquisition in a high-growth, progressive practice environment
  • DEIB focused, with a clear examples of how TA structures, process and skills drive diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging through the front-end of the employee lifecycle
  • Collaborative, low ego, comfortable changing tack when new information presents itselfHighly skilled in regular communication practices with hiring leaders and teammates, resulting in measurable value and efficiency to stakeholders
  • Data fluency, especially as it relates to extrapolating insights and identifying strategies to course-correct or optimize opportunities and search strategy
  • Detail-orientation is your middle name, and you’re equally in your element sharing Volta’s story with candidates as managing the logistical minutia of your pipeline
