Workplace Experience Coordinator

At Volta we’re on a mission to accelerate the adoption of the electric vehicle. Volta's award-winning charging stations benefit brands, consumers, and real-estate locations by providing valuable advertising space to businesses and convenient charging to drivers. Strategically located in places consumers already visit, Volta's chargers are currently the most used electric vehicle charging stations in the United States.
The Opportunity at Volta ChargingIn this role, you will help bring to life programs that connect our employees to Volta’s values so everyone feels welcomed, valued, and supported in order to deliver their best work. You will provide support in the design and build of a working environment that focuses on innovation, collaboration and an enjoyable employee experience.
This position is based in San Francisco and requires your onsite presence at our offices. 

After twelve months, you will have accomplished

• Being a key asset in Volta’s return-to-office plans
• Organizing and maintaining the running of the office
• Autonomously handling day-to-day operations
• Building and sustaining positive rapport with employees and vendors
• Becoming familiar/comfortable with balancing the strategic and tactical sides of this role 
• Continuing to be innovative and transformative to elevate current workplace policies and procedures to match the growth of the company

What you bring to Volta Charging

• Ability to lift 60 pounds and climb an approximately 3 foot ladder
• Comfort learning how to use a forklift (we will ensure you are trained!)
• Customer Focus - In this specific role, the employees of Volta are your key stakeholders. You will be collaborating with multiple departments/employees to fulfill requests, so the ability to collaborate with a positive, service-centric attitude is a must! 
• Organizational Savvy - The ability to manage and prioritize requests, tasks, and projects from different stakeholders in an efficient manner will be the key to success in this role. 
• Bias for Action - This role will require both tactical and strategic action. Being able to deliver on expected deadlines with a sense of urgency will be a key expectation. 
• Instills Trust - This role will include building relationships with all groups at Volta.  Gaining the confidence and trust of others will be essential in completing regular tasks and special projects with a smile and a willingness to be of assistance
• Manages Ambiguity - Getting vague and occasionally conflicting information will occur in this position.  Success in this role includes knowing when to take the information you have and drive the project forward vs when to seek guidance.
