POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Executive Vice President & Chief Client Officer, this individual will be responsible for supporting a broad range of client management, administrative, and executive support duties for the Client Management team. This role requires extensive flexibility, people, communication, writing, organizational, planning, and project management skills. This position is based in Annapolis, Maryland (with temporary remote work possible at the time of hire due to the pandemic). 
Position responsibilities include but may not be limited to the following:

Business Development & Client Management

  • Support the Client Management team in their core marketing, travel, outward-facing client, industry activities, and internal cross-functional activities including
  • Maintaining client information management on the CRM platform (Salesforce)
  • Assembling client related information to distribute to the internal team prior to client meetings
  • Monitoring relevant client information through news-intelligence sources, earnings presentations, disclosure statements and other relevant sources
  • Assist with Communications team on preparation for industry events with presentations, biographies, speaker panel and event information and coordination

Administrative

  • Provide administrative support and coordinate logistics for the team’s travel, expenses, organizational memberships, conference attendance, trade association board activities, and speaking opportunities
  • Manage travel logistics requirements and related post-travel expense reporting
  • Liaise closely with the Chief Client Officer and the team to handle calendar coordination and tracking of internal and external client meetings, calls, meeting room scheduling, meals and any other logistics requirements
  • Coordinate with marketing to maintain annual calendars of key conferences/conventions, executive external visibility, volunteer projects, and Association Board meetings
  • Track NDA requests with legal team to ensure timely feedback and closure

Research / Sales & Marketing Support

  • Perform research and analysis on new potential markets that would benefit from the Company’s investment programs to include market identification, dynamics, competitors, influencers, entry points, key market risks using outside market research databases and resources as time permits

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in liberal arts, english, business, and/or communications preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, prior administrative, project management and/or client services experience within a corporate organization is a plus
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to support and communicate with senior-level executives
  • Strong organizational, project management, and problem solving skills
  • Business development, financial services, and clean energy experience is highly desired
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • A professional and friendly demeanor
  • Have a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
