SUMMARY

Nexamp is seeking a Corporate Financial Reporting Manager to join its team based in our Boston office. This position will report to the Corporate Controller (in in the interim the position will report to the SVP, Accounting). The Corporate Financial Reporting Manager will be responsible for internal and external financial reporting requirements of the Company. This individual will have the opportunity for future growth and development amongst a group of high achieving and fun professionals. RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the execution and performance of various reporting and technical accounting activities, including, but not limited to:

  • Assist with the preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual consolidation and financial statements under the US GAAP and IFRS frameworks
  • Collaborate with SVP, Accounting and CFO to prepare for various Corporate and project portfolio transactions
  • Coordinate with and support key Corporate and project portfolio investors reporting requests
  • Assist SVP of Accounting and the FP&A team in annual budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Research and analyze new accounting pronouncements and identify and document the impact to the Company’s existing accounting policies and financial statements. This may require attending virtual or in-person webinars or conferences
  • Prepare technical accounting memos for complex accounting matter and interpretation of accounting issues including potential impact on business operations
  • Collaborate with key investor (Mitsubishi) and the Nexamp accounting teams on adoption and implementation of new technical accounting standards
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual investor reporting requests
  • Prepare financial statements, related footnotes and supporting documents for audited financial statements for Corporate and Project entities
  • Coordinate and assist with year-end audit requests
  • Develop, maintain and manage company reporting calendar to facilitate accurate completion and sufficient review of all reporting requirements in a timely manner

QUALIFICATIONS

Ideal candidate must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, results oriented and operate well in a collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate should be prepared for increased responsibilities as they relate to the role in a rapidly growing company. Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience
  • CPA or equivalent preferred
  • Experience with technical accounting or publicly traded companies (10-K, 10-Q etc.) is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP (and IFRS is a plus)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strict attention to detail
  • Experience with NetSuite a plus
  • Self-motivated, diligent, detailed and deadline-oriented and ability to multitask
  • Willing and able to adapt to a high energy, fast paced environment.
  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn and grow
