Job Description

As a member of our team, you will help build a solution that solves critical challenges faced by customers and the industry. Whether working very closely with our Engineering teams, partnering with Business Development teams, or probing our customers’ needs, you will play a key role defining the product path to deliver our mobile phone app to market. The SparkCharge team is small, intense, highly capable, and eager to have like-minded individuals join. As a Product Manager at SparkCharge, you will be “hands-on” and not afraid to roll up your sleeves to make our vision a reality. If the technology doesn’t exist, we’re not afraid to envision a path to success and then build it. We always strive to design and develop products that are reliable, affordable, and easy to deploy.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the product roadmap and strategy for mobile product launches.
  • Help define, launch, and refine key user moments of the mobile charging experience across mobile and physical interactions.
  • Build and lead a team of UX/UI Designers and Developers.
  • Determine KPIs and measurable goals for the product team.
  • Develop knowledge of SparkCharge product offerings and capabilities in the context of personas that use mobile apps.
  • Conduct research and develop user stories for consumer mobile experiences.
  • Assist with driving successful implementations.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Marketing, and Operations to develop and prioritize features products.
  • Clearly communicate product goals to the SparkCharge team.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to create and deploy product, marketing, sales, and delivery strategies.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer during internal team meetings.
  • Provide accurate documentation using Confluence and JIRA.
  • Manage product requirements and feature development that drives consumer adoption and engagement.
  • Analyze data to establish, monitor, and measure success metrics.
  • Define OKRs and track progress against them regularly.
  • Provide reports to leadership team and cross-functional partners.
  • Work with Designers, User Research Specialists, Data Analysts, Engineers, and Data Scientists to build an immersive and business driving experience.
  • Partner with Google and Apple to identify technology integration and promotion opportunities as needed.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of industry experience working as a Product Manager for a technology company.
  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)
  • Experience writing code for mobile applications.
  • Experience launching mobile application products in robotics, consumer electronics, electric vehicle charging, new automotive tech, or related industry.
  • Proven prior knowledge and experience successfully delivering mobile apps.
  • Experience creating, launching, and communicating enterprise software product strategies.
  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (comfortable communicating with a leadership team)
  • Team-player attitude with eagerness and curiosity to dig into the details.
  • Ability to think about challenges from different perspectives and leverage data driven analysis to drive roadmap development and prioritization.
  • Technical understanding of mobile operating systems (iOS, Android)
  • Ability to understand advanced technologies in robotics, mechanical engineering, computer vision, etc.
  • Hands-on attitude and flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced environment is a must.
  • Develop and demonstrate understanding and experience in product management.
