Job Description

We are looking for a Drilling and Trenching Project Coordinator who will help us scale our operations in New York and Connecticut. You’ll coordinate day to day operations tasks with our different teams and clients as they take their first steps of the geothermal installation process. You will report to the Drilling and Trenching Operations Manager and will also be responsible for supporting our work with Dandelion’s full heat pump installation partners, as needed.

What you’ll do? 

  • Assist with Schedule Tasks including:
    • Research projects & build out FieldAware (FA) schedule for drilling & trenching
    • Maintain/Edit FA schedule
    • Attend Monday/Wednesday/Friday schedule calls & daily end of day Slack updates
    • Daily schedule communication with Crews & Account Managers (AM)
  • Assist Customer Support personnel including:
    • Respond to daily AM/Customer Support project questions via Slack/Hubspot/email/etc
    • Seek guidance from ROM for more complex situations
  • Assist with Project Tasks including:
    • Project research/review in Marketplace/Hubspot/Sitecapture/Drive & emails to crew
    • Interface with Designers
    • Pre-drill and drilling feasibility site visits
    • Maintaining Google map for drilling
    • Digsafe tickets
    • Hubspot tasks
    • Drilling & trenching QA
  • Assist with Equipment tasks including:
    • Fleet management
      • Maintain records for inspections/registrations/maintenance/repairs for drilling and trenching trucks and trailers
      • Notify and coordinate when action is due
    • Inventory tracking
      • Drilling
      • Trenching
    • Coordination with rental/vendors
      • Repairs/Parts

Preferred Experience & Education:

  • 1-2 years experience with exterior aspects of geothermal system installation, drilling and/or excavation
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Ability to follow through and work independently
  • Computer savviness (i.e. ability to navigate all software programs used by Dandelion)
  • Education background in construction, civil engineering or geology a plus
  • Lives locally in the Hudson Valley or Albany area
