Job Description

OUR STORY

Founded in Sydney in 2017, Zoomo is leading the world at providing utility e-bikes and after market servicing. We're a fast growing tech start up with a global footprint across the US, Australia, and the UK. We are doubling in size every 6 months!

OUR PURPOSE

We are transitioning billions of urban miles from bikes, cars and trucks to smart e-bikes. E-bikes are more efficient, more sustainable and now, easily accessible.

OUR VALUES

We move fast and score goals. We seek honest feedback. And we respect the individual.

THE ROLE

So far, our amazing price, product and service has done a lot of our marketing for us. Rapid growth has been driven by referrals from affiliates (e.g. food delivery companies such as Deliveroo) and our customers (we have Net Promoter Score of 70%+). It’s time to build local marketing campaigns to turbocharge our Australian growth. We are now looking for an ANZ Marketing Manager to lead our ANZ marketing strategy and unlock hyper growth.

The ANZ Marketing Manager will have a direct impact on the success of Zoomo. They will report to the ANZ GM and drive our local online & offline marketing activities (incl. managing the ANZ marketing budget), working closely with the local area managers and the central marketing team. The role requires experience in marketing strategy, agency/stakeholder management, copywriting, project management and marketing analytics.

To be truly successful in this role you will need to test channels in a structured way, gather and interpret the results, and make data driven decisions. Have a get stuff done attitude and bias towards action, with a strong desire to win in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the voice of the local customer. Leverage data and customer anecdotes to support local marketing campaigns, copy writing and product messaging
  • Measure and report on results. You can’t manage what you can’t measure. Use a data driven approach to decision making and report key results to the team.
  • Build out Zoomo’s brand within the community. Work with marketing to communicate Zoomo’s brand values and services through our owned channels: emails, socials and events etc.
  • Build go-to-market plans for new segments
  • Execute local rider comms. Keep our current riders informed of services and updates that allow them to earn more money or get the most out of their Zoomo experience
  • Own the ANZ marketing budget and make recommendations for allocating funds towards projects with maximum ROI
  • Collaborate with central marketing. Work with the global central marketing team to improve existing marketing campaigns for your region
  • Generate new leads. Use online marketplaces, social media, EDM campaigns and temp workers to find ways to hack lead generation to pass onto the local Area Managers, e.g. Facebook Marketplace ads, Facebook rider community groups and offline flyering

Requirements

  • 4+ years of marketing or growth experience, either in-house or within an agency.
  • An eye for growth, even if it’s hacky. You need to be able to hustle leads for the local team through whatever channels you can
  • A familiarity with performance and digital marketing, including Facebook and Gumtree Ads
  • Experience at a start-up or product in a high-growth phase (is a plus!)
  • eCommerce experience; know your way around a CMS, Google analytics and their relevant metrics.
  • Experience working with a CRM like Hubspot to nurture customers and drive conversions.
  • Data. Data. Data. Making data-driven decisions is second nature to you and you know how to interpret the data to tell a customer story.
  • Ability to create punchy copy that connects with target audiences.
  • Can live Zoomo’s values.

Benefits

  • Jumping aboard a rocket ship at the ground floor
  • Working at a well-funded start-up with a strong management team and global presence
  • The chance to be part of an organisation in hyper-growth with plenty of opportunity for personal development
  • Flexible workplace with a team of extraordinary, motivated and fun co-workers
  • Autonomy and ownership of the work you do, with flexible hours
  • The full support of an experienced management team in helping you meet your targets and your professional development goals
  • Attractive remuneration package and benefits
  • Expect autonomy and responsibility, solving problems you've never imagined even existed, at high pace
  • Zoomo focuses on Electric Vehicles, Internet of Things, and Logistics / Transportation / Shipping. Their company has offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York City, London, and Sydney. They have a mid-size team that's between 51-200 employees.
