Why We’re Rad (about us): Rad Power Bikes is on a mission to get people onto bikes, electric bikes that are built for everything and priced for everyone - the weekend warriors, hardcore commuters, and family cyclists.
Madly growing and headquartered in Seattle, WA, we are seeking a full-time Ebike Assembly Supervisor to join our team. If you enjoy working in a collaborative environment and are looking to support a dynamic team, read on.
Our Ebike Assembly Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing a team of assemblers and ensuring the overall safety and quality of our bikes being purchased out of our new retail location in San Diego. They will work cross-functionally with our Supply Chain and Retail departments to satisfy customer demand and monitor the assembly process and bike inventory to prevent delays in final goods delivery.  We are open seven days a week! Weekend availability will be required as our schedule is subject to change. 

Why You’re Rad (about you):

  • 4+ years of experience with bikes in a formal setting 
  • A dynamic leader with a focus on employee development and product quality 
  • Prior experience supervising in a fast paced production environment 
  • Friendly attitude and interest in working with ebikes
  • Organized and efficient with strong attention to detail and prioritization

Additional Requirements:

  • Drive the improvement of processes and systems within the assembly operation 
  • Impeccable written & oral communication skills
  • Ability to ascend / descend ladders
  • Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours / day
  • Ability to lift, push/pull, leverage and carry 65+ pounds without assistance
  • Proficient manual dexterity required while using a variety of hand tools and other equipment
