Environment Georgia Campaign Associate
Join Environment Georgia as our Clean Energy Associate and help build a 100% clean energy future with state director Jennette Gayer.
We all know that burning oil, gas, and coal has polluted our air, water, and land for decades – and now it’s changing the climate even faster than scientists feared it would.
We know we can have healthier communities right now and a livable future for ourselves and generations to come. But to get there, we must transform the way we produce and consume energy. Environment Georgia is working with key Georgia cities and at the state legislature to move forward policies that set bold goals and move concrete policies forward.
We are seeking a Campaign Associate who will spearhead this campaign in cities like Atlanta, Macon, Savannah and Athens and work with our experienced team of advocates, researchers, and digital and communications experts to run a strategic campaign to win support for 100% clean energy in Georgia.
Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply; we provide training on advocacy and organizing skills, as well as oversight and on-the-ground training by an experienced advocate. Ideal candidates will have leadership experience, top-notch written and verbal skills, an eagerness to learn, and be ready for a challenge. We value organizing experience, including building campus or community groups.
