Job Description

Overview 

Terramera is seeking for an enthusiastic, people-oriented Recruitment Coordinator to join the People & Culture team on an 8-month full-time contract, with a possibility for extension or permanent conversion. Terramera is currently undergoing an unprecedented surge in hiring to scale our world-changing initiatives and the Recruitment Coordinator will directly be a part of this mission-critical impactThis is an exciting opportunity for the incumbent to experience many facets of the talent acquisition domain, while working at a rapidly growing, award-winning start-up organization that focuses on bringing together farmers and clean technology to turn climate change, economic crisis, and food insecurity into opportunities. This remote position will report into the Recruitment Lead and will receive mentorship from the People & Culture team of four fun and accomplished professionals 

Your Mission

To provide a memorable, positive experience to candidates, interviewers and hiring managers through prompt follow up, high quality deliverables and communication throughout the candidate's journey from initial touchpoint to onboarding.  

Accountabilities  

  • Lead support and coordination through the full life cycle of recruitment process, including posting jobs, scheduling and conducting interviews, processing offer letters, conducting background checks, etc.  
  • Generate interview plan kits and job criterion for all job openings   
  • Assist in strategic sourcing, shortlisting, and pre-screening candidates  
  • Prepare and communicate pre-onboarding to new hires in collaboration with People Operations  
  • Track, analyze, and report on recruitment data and statistics, followed by drawing insights for improvements 
  • Reorganize recruitment folders and candidate profiles via SharePoint and applicant tracking system  
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Communications team on ad-hoc employer branding projects 
  • Provide ad-hoc project assistance and administrative support to the Recruitment Lead  

Requirements 

  • Recent graduate from the Business, STEM, or Arts program, preferably concentrating in Human Resource Management  
  • Some experience in administration, human resources or recruitment is a strong asset
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); database & systems experience is an asset 
  • Familiarity working in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment
