Giving Green’s mission is to use data and evidence to help direct money towards the most cost-effective solutions to the climate crisis. We seek to fundamentally reshape the way money moves in the climate space, shifting donations towards impactful organizations and elevating the standards of evidence for climate donations. We provide a trusted and well-researched set of recommendations for individuals and philanthropic funders. Giving Green is an initiative of IDinsight, a 501(c)3 nonprofit. 

 The GG Manager will be a utility player for the team, taking on a crucial leadership and research role in a young and rapidly expanding team. The GG Manager will lead research workstreams, oversee consultants, drive communications, raise funds, and build organizational systems. This person will be a linchpin for the Giving Green team, helping lead and build the organization. The GG Manager will work closely with IDinsight’s Chief Economist and other members of IDinsight.

We are seeking candidates with demonstrated experience relevant to these four areas of work and with the ability to work in an intense start-up environment, communicate clearly, and collaborate well with the rest of the Giving Green team. All else equal, candidates with a deep familiarity of climate science, policy, and politics will receive stronger consideration.
