This position is in a fast-growing engineering organization created to meet the global demand for local climate and weather information to protect and develop assets, and to manage risk in operations. You will work with data scientists, physical scientists, machine learning specialist and software engineers to implement, interpret, and scale advanced data insights capabilities for our flagship ClimateScore Global product.
Engineering at JupiterThe Engineering team includes Data APIs, Application Development, Platform and Services Development, Cloud Operations and Security and is responsible for building innovative products and infrastructure for our Climate Score Platform. Jupiter's Engineering team consists of world class engineers with deep background and expertise in building Peta-Scale systems that empowers Machine Learning, Data Science, Advanced Data Insights & Analytics, and Platform for rapid Application development for our flagship products ClimateScore Planning and ClimateScore Global.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, upgrade and continuously improve cloud security for ClimateScore Services Platform and Applications
- Perform technical security assessment, code, and design reviews
- Develop technical architecture to mitigate security vulnerabilities working closely with the engineering and DevOps team
- Enhance and add new methods for data classification and secure storage
- Find gaps and improve data encryption methods for rest and transit
- Build a roadmap to incorporate Cloud Agnostic Security services to provide secure environments for test, stage, and production
- Constantly stay on top of new attack vectors and latest on Infrastructure and Application Security
- Perform hands-on pen test and own remediation plans
- Build and implement a plan for handling a security breach
Attributes:
- Excellent understanding of all elements of Information & Cyber Security
- Hands on with AWS Security and Encryption services
- Hands on with AWS Compute and Network Services
- Ability to understand and some exposure to massively parallel data system
- Deep understanding and knowledge of Encryption Standard and their implementation on the Cloud
- Hands on with Intrusion detection and prevention systems
- Deep understanding of security best practices, OWASP Top 10, ISO 20001 and NIST security guidelines and recommendations
- Excellent & Effective communications skills
