Job DescriptionHelp us build the future of natural capital markets. As an NCX Analyst, you'll be working directly on the planning, execution, and analysis of our groundbreaking forest carbon marketplace. Your role will use quantitative and qualitative research and analytical skills to ensure our operations continue to run smoothly as we scale up our company and our programs. 

Key Responsibilities

• Support NCX Program Director in all financial, business, and operational facets of Natural Capital Exchange, including:

Payments and financial flows Legal contracting Market and auction design Project certification Business intelligence / analytics Strategic growth planning Sales strategy

• Study and lead implementation of best practices in these areas from other marketplaces, financial intermediary, and project development companies
• Facilitate effective interaction with third parties including company advisors, attorneys, and consultants

Desired Experience & Aptitudes

• 3+ years experience in Analyst or similar role, likely in consulting, finance, investing, business operations, or similar
• Degree(s) in Econ, Business, Finance, or similar
• Exposure to forestry and, ideally, carbon markets and/or certification programs
• Ability to dive deep on complex topics and synthesize information into actionable insights
• Proficiency with Excel and technical/business/legal writing
• Demonstrated interest in sustainability, conservation, natural resource management, and market-based approaches to the same
