Finance Manager-Financial Planning & Analysis

The Beyond Meat finance team is looking to hire a highly driven Finance Manager to lead the FP&A function. As a key member of the Accounting & Finance team, the FP&A Manager leads the entire FP&A function to drive business decisions. Reporting to the VP of FP&A and Investor Relations, the role delivers strategic budgeting, links financial results to operational performance drivers, liaises with internal stakeholders and drives continuous improvement to deliverables. This position is expected to provide both financial and strategic business leadership and communicate effectively with senior management. Responsibilities include leading annual and quarterly P&L forecasts, preparing quarter end reports for senior leadership, compiling necessary materials for quarterly earnings calls and any ad-hoc requests.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develops, interprets, and implements financial concepts for financial planning and control. 
• Performs technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. Gathers, analyzes, prepares, and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts. 
• Prepares annual and quarterly budgets. 

• Maintain and improve COGS model and assists in costing of new products Prepares financial statements and variance reports as requested.
• Prepares special reports and ad hoc analysis. 
• May interpret reports and records for managers.
• Uses a formal process for appropriate data gathering, consolidation and analysis of financial data relative to the preparation of required regulatory filings for Sr. Director.
• Ensures data integrity. 
• Supervise Senior Financial Analyst and Financial Analyst.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in public company corporate FP&A
• 1-2 years of FP&A experience at the manager level preferred
• Excellent Excel skills
• Experience with utilizing and managing entire Adaptive Insights model
• ERP Systems and data visualization tools experience
• Highly analytical
• Flexible

• Office-environment
