We seek to change the paradigm in energy storage by developing a completely new class of electrical energy storage device. We are backed by top VC firms and our ground-breaking technology is based on work done by researchers at Stanford University. Join a department of engineers and technicians taking cutting-edge concepts to manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with engineers to run scaling trials and bring up new equipment and processes. Learn and maintain SOPs to standardize production.Keep accurate and detailed laboratory records.Maintain an inventory of laboratory supplies, and a safe and organized workspaceCommunicate results and update daily progressYou will work with a team of technicians, engineers and scientist to scale-up manufacturing processes.You will be trained to work on automation processes and high temperature processing equipment.The work will be in clean room environment, so process, product and individual safety is of utmost importance.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalentAbility to perform work in a cleanroom, dry room or fume hood that requires the use of fine motor skills for extended periods of time, standing, reaching and twisting motions with hands, and lifting up to 15 lbsYou love working in a fast-paced, team environment, and learning new skillsYou are committed to delivering high quality results, and share our real passion for our missionOne year or more of hands-on experience in a laboratory R&D environmentClear written and verbal skills to communicate your observations and ideasWorking in shifts to operate 24/7 manufacturing
Highly Desired:
A technical degree from a 2-year program or more2 years’ experience in the battery, solar, disk drive, high temperature operating systems. Self-motivated and have a track record of learning new skills and techniques and applying those to achieve results.Thrive in a fast paced, technically exciting environment and quickly adapt to changes.
