Grants Manager
Position Summary
Fossil Free California is a 501(c)(3) California nonprofit with a mission to move money out of fossil fuels and support a just transition to the clean energy economy. The Grants Manager will work 10 hours per week identifying opportunities for foundation grants and creating, tracking, and submitting Letters of Inquiry (LOIs) and proposals. The Grants Manager will work with the Board President and other volunteers, and will report to the Coordinating Director.

Who We Are:
Fossil Free California works to end financial support for climate-damaging fossil fuels, and promotes the transition to a socially just and environmentally sustainable society.
Fossil Free California addresses the causes of climate change by focusing on public and private financing of fossil fuel companies and related enterprises. We promote fossil fuel divestment by institutions and individuals, with emphasis on CalPERS and CalSTRS, the nation’s two largest public pension funds. We work statewide with allied environmental and climate action groups and the state legislature to work toward a just transition to a low-carbon economy for California.
